It seems like there are a few channels on the web you can access to get information about community programming. I can’t say I’ve found all of them though and there are at least three channels that seem to be more thorough than others. My channel is the Community Television Network for Public Television in Atlanta, GA. This channel covers a lot of the things that are in the “news” genre like crime, civil rights, and community programs.
As you can tell, this channel is not the place to get information about community programming. It is the place to get information about Community (for example, it is used for a lot of Community videos). However, there are a few other channels that are also pretty thorough. The Community Television Network for Public Television in Atlanta, GA (CWATV) is a channel that covers a lot of entertainment programming, such as Community, movies, and sports.
These other channels were doing Community programming, so they did not have that on their terms of service. However, once you are on a community channel, it is very difficult to remove yourself. You have to pay a subscription fee to get all the Community programming. It is possible to remove yourself from the channels you are subscribed to, but they are not very convenient.
CWATV is indeed a community channel. They have a few restrictions, but the main one is that they cannot use any of the images from other channels on the channel. As a result, you would have to stop watching any other channels and watch the Community channel to get the images. Of course, if you have the time to watch those other channels and don’t mind paying for them, you can always just watch the Community channel.
Also… in addition to being a community, the community is also in the process of changing their terms of service. They want to charge you money to sign up for their program and they are not willing to give you the option to unsubscribe. This is a sad and unfortunate move for the community, but we feel it is important to point out.
I don’t understand why anyone would want to join the community if you have to pay to be part of it. If you want to get the most out of the community, pay. You’ll get it more quickly.
